Lottery Launches For 100 Affordable Units At Brooklyn Bridge Park’s Pier 6

BROOKLYN HEIGHTS – The lottery has opened for 100 affordable units available at the two-tower Pier 6 development located in Brooklyn Bridge Park.

The first Pier 6 building is the 28-story Quay Tower, consisting of 126 market-rate condos, featuring two- to five-bedroom units with prices starting at $1.9 million and going up to more than $5 million. The second tower, 15 Bridge Park Drive, stands 15 stories tall and features 140 rental units, 100 of which will be affordable. The remaining 40 units will be market-rate apartments available to rent later this year, according to Curbed. Tenants at both buildings will begin moving in next year.

The affordable units at 15 Bridge Park Drive include 40 studios, 20 one-bedrooms, 15 two-bedrooms, and 25 three-bedrooms. Rents range from $1,394 up to $4,380.

The affordable units are available at three different income brackets—80%, 130%, and 165% of the Area Median Income (AMI)—with annual income requirements for a single applicant falling between $47,795 to $120,615.
