Lots Of Fantastic Block-Wide Sales In The Area This Weekend

Summer may be over, but the neighborhood stoop sales are still going strong.

Where: 360 12th Street, between 6th and 7th Avenue
When: Saturday, October 19, 10am to 2pm
What: Let’s start with this building-wide stoop sale on 12th, featuring clothes, toys, household items, costume items, boys and girls snowsuits and snow boots.

Where: 276 19th Street, between 5th and 6th Avenue
When: Saturday, October 19, 11am
What: Everything is “priced to go!” on 19th Street this weekend. Look for musical instruments and gear, clothing, shoes and accessories for men and women, housewares (kitchen stuff, decor and clean textiles), books and CDs.

Where: 9th Street, between 8th Avenue and Prospect Park West
When: Sunday, October 20, 10am
What: We don’t have a lot of details on this one, but it’s a block-wide sale, so expect lots of goodies to dig through.

Where: 6th Street, between 5th and 6th Avenue
When: Sunday, October 20, 10am-3pm
What: Head north into Park Slope and you’ll find a great block-wide sale worth traveling for. Look for cheap books, toys, quality kid and adult clothes, household items, furnishings, pack ‘n’ plays, car seats, a baby gate, and more. Get those haggle pants on, too, because a neighbor organizing the event says they’re ready to “make a deal!”

Where: 27th Street, between 4th and 5th Avenue
When: Sunday, October 20, 11am
What: Move in the opposite direction, deeper into Greenwood Heights, and you’ll find another block-wide sale on 27th Street. Neighbors on this block have really been working together to improve their section of the neighborhood, and say that shoppers can look for lots of great (and cheap) items, hot apple cider, a friendly vibe and “a nice selection of houses decked out with seriously killer Halloween decorations.”
