Local Bands Needed ASAP!

Do you know of a Brooklyn-based band with a sizable following? Tell them to get in touch with Sheepshead Bites as soon as possible!

The Bay Improvement Group (BIG) is looking for a Brooklyn act to play in BayFest 2011, and they’ve asked Sheepshead Bites to aid their search. The problem is, we need to have a list of potential bands in by tonight.

BayFest 2011 takes place May 15, and the chosen band will be paid a handsome sum for their appearance.

If you want to be considered, send an e-mail to me using the contact page. Be sure to include:

• Your band’s name
• A link to a website with streaming samples of your music, like Myspace
• A contact phone number and e-mail address that will be answered over the weekend

Absolute deadline for submission is 6:00 p.m. tonight.
