The NYPD recovered a loaded handgun off of a 21-year-old Borough Park man waiting at a Brooklyn-bound D platform. Brooklyn News is reporting that Dov Altman and another individual were also carrying alleged narcotics.

The incident started when the two males were caught smoking on the platform, which is in violation of MTA rules. Police asked for ID and noticed that Altman had scratches and blood around his neck. Inquiring about further injuries they asked Altman to stand up. They noticed the outline of what turned out to be a fully loaded .45 caliber Tanfoglio semi-automatic handgun wedged in Altman’s waist.

A subsequent search also turned up a magazine with five live rounds and narcotics.
