For families on the lookout for traditional summer fun that also gives kids a chance to explore their Jewish heritage, Brooklyn once again provides. Check out three of our favorite Jewish camps below.

This camp, serves kids ages 2-14, offers a fun safe environment for to learn to play soccer, swim and paint. Israeli culture is celebrated and every Friday, campers acknowledge the Jewish day of rest with a Shabbat party. This Sunday, join The J for an open house and barbecue on its Staten Island campgrounds, which includes a rope course, a pool and lots of hiking trails.

Located at Congregation Beth Elohim, CBE Summer Camps allow children in grades preschool through nine the opportunity to experience classic summer camp – right in the heart of Park Slope. Special weekly themes provide the perfect venue for exploring Jewish heritage – and for those looking for Hebrew camp, Ha’Geemnasia also runs July 5 to August 9.
