Learn How High Stakes Testing Impacts Teachers & Classrooms At A Forum On December 3
Several teachers from local elementary schools will join a Columbia University Teachers College professor for presentations at Teachers Talk Testing, a forum about how New York City’s and New York State’s high stakes testing policies are impacting teachers professionally and in the classroom, and how this affects our children.
It will be followed by a Q&A to discuss how parents and educators can present their concerns to Mayor-elect Bill de Blasio, NY State Education Commissioner John King, and the NY Board of Regents.
The forum is scheduled for Tuesday, December 3 at 6:30pm at PS 321, 180 7th Avenue, between 1st and 2nd Streets.
