Lander Keeps District 39, De Blasio & Lhota Will Vie For Mayor & More Results Of Yesterday’s Primary Election
The results of yesterday’s primary elections are in, and several of the races came down to the wire. In case you went to bed at a reasonable hour, here’s who won each city-wide race, plus our more local ones:
Mayoral (will advance)
Democratic: Bill de Blasio, 40.19%
Republican: Joe Lhota, 52.6%
Comptroller
Scott Stringer, 52.08%
Public Advocate (will advance)
Letitia James, 36.06%
Daniel Squadron, 33.17%
District Attorney
Ken Thompson, 55.42%
Borough President
Eric Adams (uncontested)
District 39
Brad Lander (uncontested)
