Kids rule at this event!  Swim and play on our white sand beach, make a fun art project, and tap your sandy feet to the kid-friendly world music tunes spun by DJ Owlpuffs.

Snacks will be on sale but you’re invited to bring your own picnic basket.  And if it rains, we’ll move the 2-hour party inside to our Beach Café, with floor-to-ceiling views of the water.

Space is limited and tickets are required.  Order your FREE Family Beach Party tickets TODAY by calling 718-368-5596.

SWING UNDER THE STARS

THE RED STICK RAMBLERS
SUNDAY JULY 19 – 7:30PM

This red-hot band from southern Louisiana spices up our summer series with a blend of Cajun two-steps, Western swing, cowboy songs, and hot-wired zydeco sure to get you out of your seats and onto the dance floor.  As fiddle player Linzay Young tells it, “it’s less like a performance and more like a party—and you’re the entertainment.”

“The Red Stick Ramblers are the real deal…..They form clear, strong melodies, whether tearing through a raucous fiddle ride or sneaking around a double-jointed jazz solo…. sheer joy.” — New Haven Advocate

GADJI GADJO
SATURDAY JULY 25 – 7:30PM

When you think of klezmer music, you naturally think of…Québec!  No?  Come be pleasantly surprised by this talented young group of French-Canadians as they perform an evening of rousing klezmer and Gypsy music — with a dash of Québécois.

“…all would approve of the variation created and played with intense fervor and deep respect by [clarinetist Jean-Sebastien] Leblanc and his merry band of French-Canadians.” — Jewish World
