Three 16-year-old boys, including one from Kensington and another from Midwood, were arrested yesterday and charged with raping and robbing a 33-year-old woman at a park in lower Manhattan, the NYPD said.

The teenagers — Eric Pek, of Kensington; Sanat Asliev, of Midwood; and Emanuel Burrows, of Canarsie — allegedly met the victim at  cafe and persuaded her to come with them to a park in Chinatown, where they allegedly raped and robbed her around 5am on Monday, June 1, police said. According to the NYPD, the suspects took her identification and house keys and went to the woman’s apartment, where they were caught on surveillance footage (posted above).

On the footage, you can see the three entering the woman’s apartment building around 5:11am and then rushing down the stairs just a minute later.

The victim was brought to a local hospital in stable condition, police said.

Pek, who police said was charged with rape, robbery, assault, burglary grand larceny and petit larceny, has apparently been arrested six times before, DNAinfo reported, but, prior to yesterday, had never been charged with rape.

“That’s not him,” a friend of Pek’s told DNAinfo. “He’s a good kid, cheerful. “He was just chilling with the wrong people, that’s it.”

Asliev was charged with attempted rape, assault and attempted burglary, and Burrows was charged with rape, robbery, assault, burglary, grand larceny, and attempted petit larceny, police said.
