Sticking around Kensington for the long weekend? If you’re looking for something to do in the neighborhood, there are a few things going on nearby:

Saturday, May 25

Lavender Blues (pictured above), a music group for babies and toddlers, brings a sing-along to Lark at 10am.

• Get an introduction to birdwatching at the Pop-Up Audubon tent in Prospect Park, 12pm.

• This weekend marks the beginning of the big summer blockbusters. Out two closest movie theaters, The Pavilion and The Kent, are both showing quite a few!

Sunday, May 26

• The Greenmarket at PS 154 runs every Sunday, rain or shine, 9am-3pm.

• If you’re up for a long walk with a reward at the end, check out the Food Truck Rally on the other side of Prospect Park at Grand Army Plaza, 11am-5pm.

• Flatbush Jewish Center hosts a $10 dinner and screening of Footnote, an Israeli comedy, at 6:30pm.

Monday, May 27

• Enjoy a free Memorial Day concert at Green-Wood Cemetery, 2:30pm.
