Here, thanks to 66th Precinct Commander Michael Deddo, his officers, and local demand, is an up-to-date summary of felonies and petit larcenies committed in Kensington’s sectors G (Beverley Road to Avenue F, 37th St to Coney Island Ave) and K (Caton Ave to Beverley Rd, 37th St to Coney Island Ave) for the 28-day period from Monday, October 21 to Sunday, November 17.

Ocean Parkway between Caton Ave and Albemarle Rd
Police say a 14-year-old boy was followed home from the F train to his apartment building, and once inside, the suspect demanded the boy’s iPhone and then fled to F train stop at Fort Hamilton Parkway.

Cortelyou Road between McDonald Ave and E 2nd St
Three armed suspects allegedly marched into a business in a commercial building (pictured above), ordered the employees to the back of the store, and then took various Apple products, according to police. The Brooklyn Robbery Squad is investigating with the aid of a video.

Caton Avenue between E 2nd and E 3rd Sts
A 42-year-old man was followed into the elevator of a public building and refused to hand over his phone to a suspect who police say demanded it at knife-point. Police say the perp then punched the man in the face, causing swelling. Cops dispatched to the scene arrested the suspect.

A cabbie taken for a ride
A 24-year-old cab driver was dispatched to pick up a fare at 50th Street between 2nd and 3rd Avenues. The man had the driver take him to 52nd Street and 3rd Avenue, where police say he broke into a parked vehicle and attempted to take items. The suspect next had the cabbie drive him to several more locations, and finally asked to be dropped off at Albemarle Road and McDonald Avenue, where police say he left the cab without paying. The driver called police, and neighbors gaped as approximately eight cops from the 66th Precinct gave chase through yards near Tehama Street until they caught and arrested the suspect.

Clara Street between Dahill Rd and Chester Ave
A 34-year-old man was sleeping when police say a thief entered his house through an open window and took silver coins, a laptop, and three watches.

Cortelyou Road between E 4th and E 5th Sts
Gaining entrance through a rear window, police say a thief took money, a laptop, jewelry, and an iPhone from a 29-year-old woman.

Thieves gained access to an apartment building’s basement through a gate at its side entrance, and according to cops they took the tools the victim used in his construction business.

Police say a perp jacked up a man’s car and stole all its tires and rims. Arrest made.

When a woman returned to her parked car in the morning, police say she found her front passenger window broken and her GPS gone.

East 7th Street between Beverley Rd and Avenue C
Someone removed the mirrors from the passenger’s and driver’s side of a parked vehicle, according to cops.
Thursday, November 7-Friday, November 8, sometime between 9:45pm-8am
East 3rd Street between Albemarle Rd and Church Ave
Police say a woman discovered in the morning that someone had broken the rear window of her parked car and taken her bicycle.
