Join Your Neighbors For A Free Accordion Orchestra In The E. 4th Street Community Garden This Saturday

Accordions galore!

This Saturday, July 18, at 2pm, idle away a warm summer afternoon in one of the neighborhood’s hidden treasures: the East Fourth Street Community Garden. Brooklyn’s own Famous Accordion Orchestra will be performing a free concert on the garden’s shade-dappled lawn.

The orchestra, led by composer/accordionist Bob Goldberg and featuring Melissa Elledge, Mark Nathanson, and Rachel Swaner, has a varied repertoire that spans two continents and includes Offenbach, Ellington, Copland, Marley, and Seeger, as well as original works.

The garden is located mid-block behind the wrought Iron fence at 179 E. 4th on the border between Kensington and Windsor Terrace.
