You know we love Lit at Lark, the monthly reading series hosted by Kensington author Amy Shearn, and you know Lark (1007 Church Avenue between E 10th Street and Stratford Road) loves the little’uns — so it’s only natural for Lit at Lark to take a youthful turn next Sunday, March 15, with a super special “kids’ day” event.

Children’s book authors and illustrators Melanie Hope Greenberg, Matthea Harvey, and Ted and Betsy Lewin will conduct the day’s playful and whimsical readings, while professional postage nostalgic Melissa Lohman-Wild of Viva Snail Mail will be on hand to get the arts and crafts party started, and WORD Bookstore will pop up once again to offer their tomes on Church Avenue. The event will also feature a five-year-old guest host in the form of mini-Shearn, fashionista, and seemingly excellent big sister/NYC day seizer Harper.

In short, your family won’t want to miss this one — so gather up the tiny people in your life and bring them along for the fun at Lark starting at 3pm.
