Join Temple Beth Emeth This Sunday For A Prospective Member BBQ

Temple Beth Emeth invites neighbors who are curious about the congregation to join them for a BBQ this Sunday, May 18, from 3-6pm.

The temple “welcomes all those seeking a religious home in the Jewish faith, including singles and all kinds of families–with or without children, straight/LGBTIQ, whether both partners are Jewish or not,” says the organization. “We cherish the egalitarian ideals of the Reform movement and are pleased to engage with the Brooklyn communities surrounding us.”

The free event will be held at 225 Argyle Road (between Cortelyou and Beverley Roads) by Brooklyn Hearth‘s Jan Rosenberg and her husband Fred Siegel, and members of the temple and religious school will be present to answer any questions. Neighbors are encouraged to bring their children.

RSVPs are not required, but are appreciated so that the congregation knows, as they say, “how much BB to Q”–so if you know you’ll be stopping by, please call 718-282-1596 or email templebeth83@aol.com.
