Join Madiba, Speedy Romeo, Choice & More August 30 For A Bklyn Bazaar Block Party

Live on one of those streets without block parties–or just can’t get enough of them? Join some of Fort Greene and Clinton Hill’s finest on Saturday, August 30 for a spectacular block party of their own on Lexington Avenue between Grand and Classon. You don’t have to live on the block to attend–you just have to love good music, food, and time spent with neighbors.

Curated by Madiba, Choice, Speedy Romeo, Chef Roblé, Black Girls Rock, and Jack Brown, the free event will include performances by more than 10 indie artists with headliner Angelo Moore of Fishbone, a half pipe for skating, and, of course, grub from participating restaurants, and will run from 11am to 8pm.

The full musical lineup includes DJs Beverly Bond, Gaspar Muniz, Fly Ty, and Jeff Haze, plus Shinobi Ninja, Bazaar Royale, WordSpit, Hannibal Montana, Audible Chocolate, Joe Etzine, Something Major, Sibling Band, Rebelmatic, Erica Kane, King Holiday, Brittany Campbell, Sha Summers, Sunny Gang, Sitcom Life Brown, and Redddaz.
