Join Council Member Brad Lander At The Participatory Budgeting Meeting Next Tuesday

If you live in District 39 and want to have a say in what projects are funded in our area, stop by the Participatory Budgeting meeting next Tuesday, October 6 at PS 230, 1 Albemarle Road, from 6:30-8:30pm. All residents living in the district who are 14 years old or older are permitted to vote.

Participatory budgeting gives residents the opportunity to suggest projects that need funding. Past projects in our area have included pedestrian safety improvements on Church Avenue, and new technology for students at PS 230, and community cultural space at the Kensington Library.

This is the fifth year that Council Member Brad Lander has set aside $1 million to fund your ideas, so get out there and make them known! What do you think Kensington needs?
