Is The Q Still The Best Subway Line In All Of NYC?

Buzzfeed ranked the best and worst NYC subway lines yesterday using lots of scientific experiments and empirical data, and it just so happens that our very own Q train came in at #1!

As you may already know, our local line did receive accolades in 2012 on The Straphangers Campaign’s Annual Subway Report Card for its announcements, cleanliness, available seats, and lack of delays–and many, though not all, of our neighbors agreed at that point that they felt lucky to live off the Q.

As in that report card, however, the B only managed to slide into 14th place on Buzzfeed, who likened the train to “That one cool work friend who’ll chill with you at happy hour during the week, but doesn’t think you’re hip enough to go out with on the weekends.”

Given the July-October Parkside, Beverley, and Cortelyou platform rehab fiasco (southbound platform work is scheduled to begin next month), August’s kitten frolic-based delays, and your other recent experiences on the line, are you still as fond of the Q? And are you taking the B’s refusal to hang with you on weekends personally, or just facing the fact that hey, the B hangs with no one then?
