How To Make Talde’s Breakfast Ramen At Home

You’ve got a three-day weekend ahead of you, which could be a great time for an ambitious project like making Talde’s breakfast ramen at home. Chef Dale Tale shared the recipe with Today, and it’s tailored to the at-home chef — store-bought broth is substituted for their 12-hour version, for one thing — and aside from some of the ingredients that may be a little tricky to find, it actually looks like something you could whip out for a nice holiday brunch.

One thing we didn’t know about the ramen, which is one of our favorite dishes in the neighborhood, is that there is indeed buttered toast in the broth — it’s steeped for a while before being blended smooth.

If you’re not up for making it yourself, you can grab it at the restaurant, located at 369 7th Avenue on the corner of 11th Street, this weekend. They’re open for brunch Saturday and Sunday from 11am-3pm — but note that on Monday for Memorial Day, Talde and its sister restaurants Thistle Hill and Pork Slope won’t be open for brunch, but they will be open for their regular dinner hours.
