How Has Your Commute Changed Since Sandy?

It’s been two weeks and two storms but transportation is creeping towards normal. Still, things are moving slowly: Coney Island Avenue and the BQE have been prone to frustrating standstill traffic often as of late. Buses have had to navigate the labyrinth of long lines to gas stations. The Q and B have been extraordinarily crowded during morning rush hour, says one neighbor who has had to wait for two or three trains to pass in the morning before being able to board.

The 70th Precinct’s Eric Rodriguez sent out an email late last week encouraging neighbors to use bicycles whenever possible, reports Streetsblog.
