Hops Hill Makes Zagat List Of Nation’s “Hottest” New Beer Bars

It’s only been open four-and-a-half-months, but Hops Hill has already hit the national stage.

The Clinton Hill beer bar, located at 886 Fulton Street (between Washington and Waverly Avenues), made #6 on Zagat’s list of “Hottest New Beer Bars in the U.S.,” standing out for “a beer list as diverse as the decor is sparse” and that “range[s] from limited-edition local creations to hard-to-find craft imports.”

Owner Joe Najem was thrilled at the recognition.

“It was really very exciting to be recognized as one of the one of the [hottest] beer bars in the country,” he told us. “I mean, I was trying to be one of the top beer bars in Brooklyn, so this was far beyond my expectations. Our beer list changes every day and it’s hard to find beer at reasonable prices. Hopefully people will hear about us and we’ll keep doing what we’re doing.”

Check out their current draft list here, and stop in anytime from 2pm-2am daily to watch the game, join in on a friendly conversation, or just see what’s on tap.
