On September 28, 1902, a “weather prophet” sent word to the Eagle that Brooklyn had a storm on the horizon.

On September 29, 1902, two local lads, one hailing from Prospect Park West, and the other from 15th Street, were allegedly caught by the law stealing the tops of the street lamps in Prospect Park.
