Help Your Child Become A Reading Machine With RIF At The Cortelyou Library
Can’t satisfy your little one’s appetite for literature? The Cortelyou Library has just the thing!
This Wednesday, January 22 from 3:30-5pm, kids are invited to our local branch (1305 Cortelyou Road on the corner of Argyle Road) to participate in the Reading is Fundamental (RIF) program. RIF rewards Matilda-esque Ditmas Parkers for reading their favorite stories–by giving them their own imagination-expanding books to take home for good!
Simply stop by the Cortelyou Library on Wednesday with your regular BPL card-carrying kiddo, and your child can pick out a free book to keep just for enrolling in RIF. Kids also get free books on birthdays, as well as for borrowing and returning six library books (two books per week can be put toward the six book goal).
If your children can’t get enough of the written word, why not sign up for RIF and keep them endlessly entertained for all the chilly, cozy afternoons to come?
