Help Wanted Around Kensington & Windsor Terrace

If you’re looking for a better commute (being able to walk to work is pretty darn sweet), or maybe your current job just isn’t cutting it, there are a bunch of available positions in and around our neighborhood. We’ve rounded up some available gigs, and leave a comment or shoot us an email to editor@kensingtonbk.com if you know of others!

1. Hamilton’s (2826 Fort Hamilton Parkway) is looking for full-time line cooks and a sous chef who can start working immediately. You’ll need to be flexible and able to work five shifts a week – lunch, brunch and dinner. 2. Randazzo Pizza (306 Ditmas Avenue) is seeking a full-time cook and delivery person. Duties will include preparing pizza and other Italian dishes, delivery, and taking phone orders. To see more about the position, as well as to apply, go here.

3. Urban Martial Arts (965 Coney Island Avenue) is hiring a full-time front desk associate. The position would entail working from 1:30-9:30pm Monday through Friday and 8:30am-1:30pm on Saturday. Duties include answering phones, scheduling appointments, data entry, putting together mailings, light cleaning, and more. (See the entire job description here.) 4. Pet Haven Animal Hospital (290 McDonald Avenue) is looking for a veterinary assistant/technician with experience. The job will entail you working weekend and evening hours. If you’re interested, please send your resumé via their Craiglist ad.

5. Batata (3021 Fort Hamilton Parkway) is seeking a part-time counter person who should feel comfortable with working in a fast-paced environment. While this would be part-time, there’s an option for it to become a full-time position in the long term. If you’re interested, drop on by the restaurant – just remember to bring your resumé, with references, to leave behind.
