Wine Store Clerk
Tipsy (584 Myrtle Avenue between Classon Avenue and Emerson Place) is looking for a spirits enthusiast to join their team part time as soon as possible. Responsibilities include helping customers, conducting transactions, ordering and tracking inventory, assisting with tastings, and other opening and closing duties. Ideal candidates will have a retail background, a knowledge of wine, a cheerful attitude, and the ability to stand and work for extended periods of time and lift 40-50 pounds.

Artist’s Studio Assistant
An artist with a studio near Pratt is looking for an assistant 16-20 hours per week to help with “multiple digital art projects under tight deadlines.” You should know how your scanning, digital printing, and Adobe Photoshop well (bonus points for Adobe Illustrator). Most work will be in the studio, but you may also spend some time running errands and working from home.

Baristas and Cafe Cashiers
Both locations of Hungry Ghost (at Fulton and South Oxford as well as on Flatbush and 6th Avenue) are looking to hire baristas and counter workers. Baristas must be excited about coffee and have coffee making experience as well as a willingness to learn, while experience is preferred but not necessary for counter people, who should be cheerful and able to work very early morning shifts. Candidates for both positions should possess or be willing to obtain a New York State Food Handler’s License.

Baker/Pastry Chef
A restaurant at Dekalb and Clermont Avenues (The General Greene?) seeks a pastry chef, ideally with formal training, bread and ice cream making experience, and some Spanish language skills. You should be able to work five days per week (including some early mornings) producing dessert pastries and savory goods. No plating or service is required.

Hair Salon Receptionist
Salon 718 seeks an upbeat, fashion forward full time receptionist for their salon at 80 Dekalb Avenue (between Hudson Avenue and Rockwell Place). The ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, able to assist with the creation of marketing materials, and available to work on weekends.
