A beloved feline family member has been missing for about two weeks, and neighbor Diane DiDonato is asking for our help.

6-year-old Brooklyn the cat has a name the entire borough could love. “Last we saw him, he had a new collar and tag on with our contact information,” Diane told Fort Greene Focus.

Brooklyn was last seen in the Fort Greene neighborhood in the area of Carlton Avenue between Myrtle and Park Avenues.

“He is a tabby that is friendly and affectionate,” says Diane. “He is adventurous but quiet. He has bright green eyes and he loves love.”

Diane says she found Brooklyn as a stray when he was eight weeks old. And he means the world to her family.

“I was pregnant when I found him. He kept my son company before he was born,” she says. “He and my son are both six years old. Our whole family misses him.”

If you see Brooklyn or have any information, please contact Diane at ironyspeaks@icloud.com.

We wish her good luck and hope Brooklyn is safe.
