Help Clean Up The Neighborhood Next Saturday, May 30

Next Saturday, May 30, join the Flatbush Development Corporation and Church Avenue Business Improvement District for a day of local cleanup and beautification!

The day will run from 9am-2pm and will include volunteers painting over graffiti, planting flowers, picking up trash, and more.

Supplies will be provided — all you need to do is show up!

To participate, you can go to one of the following locations at 9am to check in and find out what you’ll be doing that day:

• FDC’s office at 1616 Newkirk Avenue, between E. 16th and E. 17th Streets.
• Flatbush Food Co-op at 1415 Cortelyou Road, on the corner of Marlborough Road.
• Downtown Natural Market at 1701 Church Avenue, by E. 17th Street.

Then, after the event, be sure to stick around — there will be the annual backyard BBQ and magic show to thank all the volunteers for their hard work!
