Help! 2 Weeks Until Summer Camp and My Kids Aren’t Signed Up for ANYTHING!

Summer camps start two weeks from Monday. If you haven’t registered your camper yet, sit down with our website and your phone and start making calls.

Things to note:

  • Many smaller camps are full
  • Some larger camps are even reaching capacity
  • If it’s most important to enroll in a camp close by, search for summer camps in your neighborhood
  • If you’re little camper is dead set on fame, or science, or sports, you’ll find them here
  • We have specials still available

Consider these following camps.

For traditionalists:

  • Park Slope Day Camp–They have locations all over Brooklyn and offer everything from traditional camps to soccer to circus training.
  • Mill Basin Day Camp–This family-owned camp is convenient for campers in Mill Basin and Sheepshead Bay. They have a private pool and activities for kids of all ages.
  • Manhattan Beach Summer Camp–Also convenient for Sheepshead Bay, this camp boasts air conditioning, 2 heated outdoor pools and an Olympic size indoor pool. They are holding an open house this weekend.
  • Sprout Day Camp–Sprout Day Camp offers outdoor sun, swimming, Hebrew, and kosher meals.
  • Kings Bay Y Windsor Terrace–Kings Bay Y has branches in Windsor Terrace, North Williamsburg, Sheepshead Bay and more. Campers will also visit the state of the art facilities in Bay Ridge. Facilities include a bowling alley and a private theater.

For scientists:

  • mini-Preneur–Your budding business leader will love learning how to set up their own company.
  • Science if Fun – Engineering Rocks–Campers will learn an array of science concepts from physics to earth science.
  • iD Tech–iD Tech offers three summer camps for Brooklynites: Alexa Cafe; Code, Game, Create!; and Mini Camp.

For artists:

  • Brooklyn School of Rock–Let your camper jam out all summer, and maybe even produce and album!
  • Urban Glass–This is the only summer camp that teaches glass blowing.
  • ALDEN Moves Dance Theater–Get moving with ALDEN Moves! More than just dance, campers will enjoy story-telling and theater as well.

For athletes:

  • Home Run Baseball Camp–Repetition! Repetition!Repetition! Players get hundreds of ground balls and fly balls. They also get at least 100 swings with the bat!
  • Cortelyou Academic and Sports Camp–Campers will enjoy sports–basketball, soccer, swimming–as well as other fun summer camp activities.
  • Dancewave–Dance! Dance! Dance! It doesn’t matter what kind, just dance through summer!
  • Prospect Gymnastics–Jump! Tumble! Spin! Fly! Prospect Gymnastics teaches young campers how to use their bodies to do amazing tricks.

For adventurers:

  • KidVentures–Campers meet up in Brooklyn and then travel through the city to our best cultural attractions.
