Health Bucks Now Available at All NYC Greenmarkets

This week GrowNYC announced that for the first time, Health Bucks will be available at all of their Greenmarkets in the city, including the Cortelyou Greenmarket. Markets that accept food stamps (Electronic Benefit Transfer/EBT), as the Cortelyou market does, will give one Health Buck coupon, worth $2, to each customer for every $5 spent using food stamps.

Overall, this is expected to amount to more than $350,000 in free fruits and vegetables for low-income New Yorkers this season.
