Having Trouble With Landlords? Tenants & Small Biz Owners Invited To Housing Rights Town Hall Tomorrow, May 1

Tenants and small business owners who are facing problems with landlords can attend a town hall meeting tomorrow, Friday, May 1 at the Cortelyou Road Church of God (1085 Flatbush Avenue, by Cortelyou Road) to learn more about how to best resolve your issues.

Councilman Jumaane Williams and Assemblywoman Rodneyse Bichotte are presenting the Know Your Rights: Housing & Small Business Town Hall, which will run from 6pm to 8:30pm.

At the event, there will be information about dealing with predatory landlords. Plus, you’ll be able to connect with legal help, as well as with community leaders and elected officials.

The town hall is being sponsored by numerous organizations, all of which you can see on the flyer above, including the Flatbush Tenant Coalition, South Brooklyn Legal Services, Legal Aid Society, and more.
