Harmony Closed to Facilitate Neighboring Roof Repair

The Prospect Park Alliance announced yesterday that Harmony Playground (Prospect Park West between 9th and 11th Streets) will be closed on weekdays until further notice. Apparently, the building adjacent to the playground needs a few unplanned repairs that require the use of large machinery and hot tar, both of which are obvious hazards to our shortest Slopers.

The playground will remain open on Saturdays and Sundays.

Prospect Park is estimating that the work should be completed within 2 to 4 weeks, so plan on heading over to 3rd Street or JJ Byrne in the interim.
