Happy Passover And Easter From Bensonhurst Bean & Corner Media

Everyone loves a hybrid holiday. This weekend, neighbors will be celebrating both Passover and Easter (Peaster? Eastover? Sounds like a weather forecast).

Passover falls tonight, March 3, at sundown, when Jewish neighbors will commemorate the Israelites leaving ancient Egypt with a ritual meal of bitter herbs, wine, matzoh, and maybe a brisket. The eight-day Jewish holiday overlaps with Good Friday and Easter Sunday, which falls on March 5, during which our Christian neighbors will be enjoying a feast of their own.

Check out the yummy Passover and Easter treats by our friends at Robicelli’s, and look out for these transportation changes over the holiday weekend.

Our site will be on hiatus Saturday and Sunday, but we will pick up where we left off on Monday. Wishing all who celebrate a very meaningful Passover and happy Easter from all of us at Bensonhurst Bean and Corner Media!
