The couple purchased the four-story, 3,600-square-foot home for $1.75 million in 2006, Curbed reported at the time. The pair have decided to move closer to their daughters’ school, Gyllenhaal told the WSJ (subscription required).

Built in the 1880s, the home was renovated in 2007, according to the listing. The property features wood-burning fireplaces, including one in the garden-level kitchen, four bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, a den, home theater, and music room. The 55-foot-deep, south-facing garden features an outdoor bathtub/shower.
