Grocery Checkout Fight Injures Elderly Woman

CYPRESS HILLS – When a fight broke out in line at the Key Foods in Cypress Hills last month, two men injured an elderly bystander as they tussled. Now, police are looking for them.

Around 5:20 pm on Tuesday, November 21, inside the Key Foods at 208 Crescent Street near Fulton, two men began fighting while waiting in line near the cash registers, said police. When their altercation knocked a 91-year old woman the ground, the men fled on foot.

The injured woman was transferred to King’s County Hospital, where she was treated for minor injuries, said police.

Police described both of the suspects as Hispanic men 25-30 years old. The first was about 6′ tall and was last seen wearing green and black puffy jacket, black pants and white sneakers. The second, around 5’8″, was wearing a winter cap, gray back pack and all black clothing.
