Give Merry & Pippen, Sweet Ditmas Park Cats, A Forever Home

Neighbor Emily, who must live overseas for work, is hoping to find a home for her two cats Merry and Pippen. She says:

We are looking for a home for our two cats, Merry (male orange tabby) and Pippen (female white calico) starting in January or sooner. It would be a permanent situation; we will be traveling and working overseas for a while and not sure when/where we will settle down again.

The kitties were adopted as kittens in Mali, West Africa in 2004 (same mother, different litters) and are now indoor, spayed/neutered, healthy, and 9 (almost 10) years old. They do have their claws and they are pretty small– about 7 and 10 pounds. They are real characters: they meet us at the door, talk to us, and love to snuggle. They’re very loving, especially towards each other!

Let me know if you or a friend would be interested in adding these two cuties to your home. One is very friendly, including with children, and the other is quite shy except with her favorite people.
