Mardi Gras (French for “Fat Tuesday”) has spurred a city-wide night of dancing, indulging, and all-night partying. But you don’t have to go far from home to get in on the New-Orleans-style action.

Party-hop around the borough tonight with these 7 spots for brews, beads, cajun food, dancing, and more from Bay Ridge to Clinton Hill.

509 Myrtle Avenue in Clinton Hill
Grab a pre-party meal at SoCo, where both the Cajun culture and drinks are strong. This restaurant is a must-try on Mardi Gras night!

Where to get brews: Abita at the Lockyard
Lock Yard, 9221 Fifth Ave. between 92nd and 94th sts. in Bay Ridge, 7pm.
The Louisiana brewery Abita travels north to southern Brooklyn, with a pop-up in Bay Ridge on Fat Tuesday, taking over the taps at Lock Yard to serve special tastes of its Big Easy brews. Free!

Where to party with a big group: Mardi Gras Bash!
The Bell House, 149 Seventh St. in Gowanus, 9pm.
This party, hosted by MC Tanya Solomon, will feature the Hungry March Band, Gordon Webster, Jonathan Toubin and more. Tickets are $15.

Where to hear old school New Orleans R+B: Tubby Tuesday
Bar Lunatico, 486 Halsey Street between Lewis and Stuyvesant Aves in Bed-Stuy, 8:30pm.
Sample New Orleans-style cocktails and Creole cuisine for its “Mardi Gras Party with Tubby,” starring a band that plays old-school N’awlins rhythm and blues. Free.
