A twenty-one-year-old member of the Gowanus-based Oww Oww Crew was sentenced to 100 years in prison for his involvement in a 2015 drive-by shooting that killed an unborn baby.

Marquise Fredericks, of the Gowanus Houses, was arrested with three other men for shooting at a group of people outside 9A Dwight Street in Red Hook on August 3, 2015, DNA Info reports. The shooting was allegedly retribution for the killing of one of their friends, the article states.

Devin Callahan, Destiny Jones, Jemini Mitchell, and Special-Caijae Houston were injured in the incident. Houston was five months pregnant at the time and lost her unborn child in the shooting, New York Daily News reports.

Fredericks was sentenced to 25 years for each of his victims, for a total of 100 years behind bars, according to the Daily News.

The getaway driver in the attack, Ronald Williams, will be sentenced next month. The two other men involved in the incident were acquitted.
