Free Workshop To Discuss Caring For An Aging Parent
More and more people are learning to care for two generations at once — their children, and their parents and in-laws — and an upcoming workshop aims to help with some of the issues you’ll encounter along the way.
Co-sponsored by Park Slope Parents and the Office of Brad Lander, with help from the non-profit Heights and Hills, Caregiving for Aging Parents 101 will take place on Wednesday, November 5 from 6:30-8:30pm at The Old Stone House, 336 3rd Street.
Whether you’re already caring for an aging parent, or realize you will soon be focusing on their aging needs, this workshop aims to help you navigate the intense and rewarding journey of caring for aging parents by assessing the situation and helping you take the first steps.
The workshop is free, but space is limited, so please register so they can plan accordingly.
