Clinton Hill Library Book Sale
When: Saturday, November 1, 10am-4pm
Where: Clinton Hill Library (380 Washington Avenue between Greene and Lafayette Avenues)
What: The Friends of the Clinton Hill Library are running this annual sale, which offers books, goodies, and more for $1 each (or $5 for a bag full at certain hours) to benefit branch services and facilities. Neighbors are invited to shop, as well as to donate toys and baked goods tomorrow only.

“Lost & Found Hanoi” Book Launch
When: Saturday, November 1, 5-7pm
Where: Olivino (905 Fulton Street at Clinton Avenue)
What: Join fellow Brooklynite Elizabeth Rush to celebrate the release of stunning new tome Lost & Found Hanoi: Photographs of a Contemporary Vietnam, which she edited and contributed photos to. If you can’t make it tomorrow night for the celebration and Prosecco sipping, don’t sweat it–pictures from the book will be on display, and books will be available for purchase, at Olivino through November.
How much: Free admission

NYC Marathon Party
When: Sunday, November 2, all day
Where: Putnam’s Pub & Cooker
What: Hungry marathon runners can take advantage of a free dessert and a massage Sunday afternoon. Not running this year? You can still catch dinner and drink specials, plus 8pm music from Mango West, Sim Ross & The Easy Truth, and Carl Banks.
How much: Free admission
