Concert and Reading with Sean Michaels and Rob Schwimmer
When: Monday, June 23, 7:30pm
Where: Greenlight Bookstore (686 Fulton Street at the corner of South Portland Avenue)
What: Theremin player Rob Schwimmer will perform ahead of a reading by music writer Sean Michaels, whose novel Us Conductors gives a take on “the true story of the Russian scientist, inventor and spy Lev Termen, creator of the theremin, and of Clara Rockmore, its greatest player.”

“Screensavers: Travels in Sleep” Projections
When: Monday, June 23-Wednesday July 9, 10am-6pm
Where: Stoop at BRIC House (647 Fulton Street, enter on Rockwell Place)
What: Projections on BRIC House’s garage door show what really happens when you switch your computer to sleep mode. “

These hypnotic videos search through such endless mazes, and make use of codes, totems, and memory (both of the cerebral and disk space),” says BRICArts. Stop by anytime during the installation to have your mind adequately blown.
