“Crossing Brooklyn: Art From Bushwick, Bed-Stuy and Beyond”
When: Through Sunday, January 4
Where: Brooklyn Museum at 200 Eastern Parkway, 5th floor
What: Work by 35 Brooklyn-based artists or collectives, displayed and performed in the galleries and on the grounds of the Museum, as well as off-site in the streets, waterways, and other public spaces. Check the website for details of individual events.

Tamburlaine The Great
When: Saturday, January 3 at 1pm and 7pm
Where: Theatre for a New Audience at 262 Ashland Place
What: An epic spectacle first performed in 1587 to wildly popular acclaim, the last major New York production of Christopher Marlowe’s “Tamburlaine” was in 1956 on Broadway. Starring John Douglas Thompson.
How much: $55

Brooklyn Navy Yard Tour
When: Saturday, January 3 from 2-4pm
Where: BLDG 92 at 63 Flushing Avenue
What: Guided bus tour of the 150-year shipbuilding facility including a Civil-War era dry dock, the 24-acre former Navy hospital campus, and the nation’s first multi-story LEED Gold-certified industrial building.
How much: $30, or $18 for the short tour

UFC Fight: Jones vs. Cormier
When: Saturday, January 3 at 10pm
Where: Brooklyn Tap House at 590 Myrtle Avenue
What: First-come, first-serve seating to watch the game on pay-per-view TV.
