Fort Greene & Clinton Hill Artists, Submit Your BRIC Fellowship Applications Now

Brooklyn art makers, now is your chance at a free residency in your own backyard–applications are currently open for BRIC‘s 2015 Media Arts Fellowship.

12 artists are accepted each year for the free program, which offers attendees courses, facilities, and equipment to explore their unique creative mission. Artists and professionals across the borough are encouraged to apply by midnight on Friday, October 31.

Once accepted, attendees may take any of BRIC’s offered courses between January and October 2015 at no cost–and through course certification, will gain free access to BRIC’s video and editing equipment and facilities. They’ll also have up to 80 hours of studio time to work on projects, as well as other rare opportunities to hone their craft.

Application guidelines are pretty inclusive, though BRIC will not accept applications from former program residents, or students currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate degree programs, nor will they accept proposals for marketing or commercial projects.
