Former Graine De Paris Space Up For Rent On Flatbush Avenue

The Graine de Paris space, a French bakery and restaurant that opened over the summer at 272 Flatbush Avenue, between Prospect and St Marks, is now up for rent.

The space, which served up pastries, salads, and sandwiches, only lasted about five months in the space, which had previously been a daycare center.

The 1,200-square-foot storefront is currently listed for $8,500 per month, and is available immediately.

With bigger businesses hitting Flatbush Avenue these days — from Shake Shack to Doughnut Plant to the forthcoming Patsy’s — do you think a small business can still make it work on the street? Either way, what kind of business do you think this particular block could use?
