Food Truck Rally Returns To Grand Army Plaza This Sunday

Along with Opening Day festivities, there’s another reason to stop by Prospect Park this weekend — the food trucks are back! Try cuisine from far and wide [parts of NYC] at the rally’s Grand Army Plaza outpost on several Sundays throughout the summer.

A park representative tells us that this year’s Grand Army Plaza visitors can expect goodies from the following vendors — they won’t all be in attendance on all dates, but you can count on an assortment of deliciousness at each event, even so:

Andy’s Italian Ices: “a place of guilt-less refreshment and indulgence.”
Brooklyn Organic Coffee & Tea Truck: A little caffeine for your walk around the park.
Carl’s Steaks: Philly cheesesteaks in Brooklyn? You bet.
Carpe Donut NYC: Not just donuts, but donut ice cream sandwiches too!
Coolhaus: For those want ice cream sandwiches on cookies, with all kinds of flavors.
DUB Pies: Handheld savory New Zealand-style pies.
Gorilla Cheese NYC: All sorts of grilled cheese sandwiches, go great with tater tots.
Kelvin Natural Slush Co.: Frozen treats with sophisticated flavors.
Kimchi Taco Truck: Tacos, burritos, and more with a Korean spin.
Milk Truck: Grilled cheese sandwiches, milkshakes, and more.
Neapolitan Express: Individual pizzas, sandwiches, and salads.
Nuchas II: Award-winning empanadas.
Papaya King: You know these dogs.
Phil’s Steaks: More Philly cheesesteaks, woo!
Ponti Rossi: Pasta, gnocchi, risotto, and more.
Red Hook Lobster Pound: Summer = lobster rolls.
Snowday: Savory maple-syrup themed foods.
Taim Mobile: Super delicious falafel, smoothies, and more.
Toum: Authentic Lebanese cuisine.

Trucks will be at Grand Army Plaza from 11am-5pm on the following Sundays:
