Flatbush Avenue Street Fair This Sunday
It’s that time of year again!
Get ready for great music, dance performances, and more food than you could ever hope to eat at the Flatbush BID‘s annual street fair this Sunday, June 29, from 12pm to 6pm on Flatbush between Parkside Avenue and Cortelyou Road.
The one-mile stretch of Flatbush will fill with thousands of people, hundreds of craft and food vendors, carnival rides, live music, face painters, and more during the BID‘s summer extravaganza.
Back again from last year will be the lively 14-piece Haitian rara band, RaRam de NY, which will play from 1:30pm to 4:30pm at the corner of the Flatbush Avenue and Caton Avenue.
Keep an eye out for stilt walker extraordinaire Bibi Farber, who will stretch her 7.5-foot legs throughout the fair from 12pm to 3pm.
The entertainment continues with live dance performances by Cynthia King Dance Studio at 2pm and 4pm at the intersection of Flatbush Avenue and Snyder Avenue.
Stop by the Flatbush Avenue BID’s table on Sunday, located in front of the Dunkin’ Donuts at 873 Flatbush Avenue, to get more information on Flatbush Avenue BID happenings.
Also, don’t forget that Flatbush Avenue will be closed off to car traffic, and public transit is definitely encouraged. Parking is not permitted throughout the boundaries of the fair from Saturday night to Sunday night.
