Flatbush Artists To Hold Their Holiday Exhibit This Weekend

Want to get some holiday shopping done and support local artists while you’re at it?

The Flatbush Artists Group is having their annual holiday show this Saturday, December 6 and Sunday, December 7, when 16 artists will showcase their work, from photography and painting to mixed media and stained glass, in salon-style art show in a Park Slope brownstone.

The show will be held from 12-6pm both days at 502 9th Street (between 7th and 8th Avenues) in Park Slope.

Artists from the established group, known for their annual Flatbush Artist Studio Tour in Ditmas Park and who will be on hand during the show, include:

Alaiyo Bradshaw – drawings and paintings with a social conscience
Chrissie Dowler – watercolors with Chinese calligraphy
Marvin Fink – international photographs of people and places
Eva G. Mihovich – paintings in oil, watercolor, and Japanese ink
Barbara Gathers – ceramics
Adam Segal-Isaacson – photography
Richard Resnick – photography
Ken Wright – stained glass work, sculptures
Kathy Levine – watercolor inspired by nature
Lindsay Manolakos– oil paintings inspired by the cosmos
Emma Strugatz – watercolor paintings
Brian Bacchiocchi- photography
Maggie Szott – acrylic paintings
