Fire Broke Out This Morning at 517 Rugby Road
A major fire took place this morning at 517 Rugby Road (on the corner of Ditmas Avenue) requiring several trucks and EMS to respond.
Brooklyn: Box #2478 517 Rugby Rd. All hands working for a fire in a 2.5 story 30×50 private dwelling. Fire is DWH. NY02

DWH stands for “Doubtful Will Hold,” a term meaning it is doubtful that the units present will be able to keep the fire under control. Neighbors say the fire is out as of 1:45 p.m. We’ve reached out to the FDNY for further details and will update the blog as we receive them.
