Find Great Deals On Kids Clothing At Saturday Swap
Have a mile-high pile of outgrown kids clothing stashed in the closet? Need to stock up on items for the cool weather season? Don’t miss the Park Slope Parents clothing swap, this Saturday, October 5, at the Church of Gethsemane (1012 8th Ave, between 10th & 11th Street).
Bring your gently used baby, toddler, and big kid clothing, costumes, baby gear, books, and maternity items to the church on Saturday from 4pm to 6pm. Both members ($5 – you can print off your membership card here) and non-members ($10) are then invited to shop through the items that others have donated. The idea is to take as much as you bring, so that “everyone gets a gem.” Any items left after the swap will be donated to local charities.
If you are planning to attend, note that there is limited room in the church basement (where the swap is taking place), so strollers must be parked outside. Bring a lock, or consider leaving the wheels at home.
