Injured Men Sought Help At Flatbush Food Co-op Last Night

Updated 12:01pm: After two men were injured a couple blocks from the Flatbush Food Co-op (1415 Cortelyou Road) Wednesday night, they came to the co-op for assistance, the co-op’s Leah Danger told us today. As soon as the men arrived at the co-op, Leah said an ambulance was called for them.

Fire and police officials responded to the call about two people bleeding at the co-op just before 10pm last night, the FDNY said.

According to an FDNY spokesman, a call came in for a “non-critical injury” at the co-op, and when emergency responders arrived, they found a man was bleeding from the face and another was bleeding from the nose, the spokesman said.

The individuals were not transported to the hospital, according to the FDNY.

We’ve reached out to the 70th Precinct for more information, and we’ll update this as soon as we find out further details.
