If you’ve never been to Brooklyn’s Chinatown, The Farm on Adderley is doing another event where participants can join Chef Tom Kearney for a market tour of the strip of 8th Avenue in Sunset Park, then head back to the Cortelyou Road restaurant for a meal inspired by the trip.

They note that “the menu will be geared toward an adventurous palate,” though this post at fewwords about The Farm’s 2011 Chinatown Shop & Cook shows that you might find more of a challenge just finishing the vast quantities of food that are dished up.

After the meal, you’ll leave with recipe cards so you can go home and try your hand at Tom’s dishes.

The Chinatown Shop & Cook is this Sunday, January 13. The tour is at 1pm, and dinner is at 8pm. It’s $60 per person, not including beverages, tax, or gratuity. To sign up, email thefarmonadderleyevents@gmail.com.
