New Yorkers can forget about the hassle of long lines at the post office to apply for passports during The New York Times Travel Show this year, taking place at the Javits Center Jan. 24-26.

The Show will be a one-stop shop for those planning vacations and applying for their passports all in one visit. For the first time ever, the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Consular Affairs will host a special Passport Acceptance Event on Saturday, Jan. 25 and Sunday, Jan. 26. During this time, attendees will be able to apply on the spot (first-time applicants and renewals).
